Worship
“Wonder is the basis of worship” – Thomas Carlisle. When we sing and make music on a Sunday its out of a profound wonder at the love and greatness of a God as we experience his presence. Worship also goes way beyond singing songs and is the life we live; giving glory to God every day with what we say, do and the heart with which we say it.
On a Sunday our talented worship team does something special – they help draw people into a place where our wonder can be celebrated in joyous songs, quiet moments and words that express the truth about God. At Red Hill we love to worship, because expressing our wonder is what we were created to do – we’re just getting ready for an eternity spent worshipping God. We hold auditions for this team a few times a year.
Hospitality
It was Jesus’ words that established his church, so when we serve the church we are directly serving Jesus and his mission to share love and grace with the world. Red Hill serving teams make sure visitors feel welcome, serve tea and coffee, prepare for spring and fall and cleanup. Ask to chat to Debra to sign up to be a part of this vital team.
Media
Our media team makes sure that the projection video and audio for both the worship and the preaching goes without a hitch. Our weekly recordings get posted on this website and the media team is the center of making that happen. If you are interested in learning the ropes or you already have your skills sharpened then we would be happy to welcome you to the team!
